You will work with a local organization dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of leopards in South Africa. During your program, you will contribute to this immense effort and also learn about the species and contribute to conservation practices.
During your program, you will participate in various on-site project activities, including food preparation and feeding (please note that you will work with raw meat), cleaning of the camps, refilling water bowls, creating enrichment for the animals, assisting staff during specific visitor interactions to educate the public, conducting guided tours (if your English level is sufficient), participating in group activities, and camp maintenance and inspections.
If you stay a minimum of 4 weeks in the project, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in the release program conducted in collaboration with a local reserve.
