This volunteer program aims to organize activities for young people during their school holidays.
The Summer School is held in July and August. During this period, volunteers will visit various schools where they will assist in coordinating a variety of activities, including sports events, study sessions, and artistic workshops, among others. This program is interactive, and volunteers are tasked with providing additional activities (whether recreational, educational, or team-oriented) to keep the children engaged during their summer break.
Throughout this program, volunteers are encouraged to use their initiative and be proactive. There is no fixed curriculum or schedule, so ideas for activities are welcome! Activities can range from games and language teaching to even cleaning.
Typically, the summer school schedule is divided into two sessions. In the morning, volunteers will spend approximately 3 hours assisting with educational activities, games, arts and crafts, basic language lessons (English, French, or Spanish), and painting and decoration workshops. In the afternoon, volunteers will continue with painting and decoration workshops, language lessons (English, French, and Spanish), gardening activities, school and volunteer house cleaning, or simply enjoying their free time.

- From 01 to 15 July
- From 15 to 29 July
- From 29 July to 12 August
- From 12 to 26 August
IMPORTANT:
There will be no classes from 23 October to 30 October 2022. From 04 December to 11 December 2022. From 22nd to 29th January 2023. From 29 April to 07 May 2023.
* However, during these school holidays volunteers will be able to carry out the following tasks: Painting and decorating the school, teaching Spanish, English or French to children from 7 to 13 years old. (The number of children can be around 20 at the most, because not all of them come during the holidays).
NO VOLUNTEERING: Ramadan: From 22 March to 21 April 2023. Although in the year 2023, Ramadan coincides with Easter, so it will be possible to do the volunteering experience this week and, in this way, get involved and immerse yourself in the typical customs of the gastronomy and the time of Ramadan.
