In this foundation, various activities are conducted to improve the conditions of the marine environment and the life that thrives within it. In the northern region of Bali, coral reefs are threatened by fishing and pollution, and volunteers will assist in daily activities aimed at the preservation and enhancement of these ecosystems.
You will contribute to the preservation of turtles by working at the turtle conservation center. Depending on the time of year, as turtles do not nest year-round, you may identify turtle species, collect eggs, monitor nests, or witness hatchlings safely making their way to the sea. Daily tasks with the turtles involve changing their water, preparing their food, and feeding them.
In addition to interacting with turtles, activities such as beach and surrounding area cleanups, reforestation efforts, and raising awareness within the local community on these matters will also be carried out. Furthermore, depending on needs and the time of year, underwater cleaning and the creation of structures for coral regeneration may be part of the program.
During the rainy season (October-March), the turtle program may be interrupted by the weather. Contact us if you plan to travel during those dates.
