Our Policies
Our commitment to promoting sustainable development goes beyond mere participation in projects; it extends to ensuring the well-being of people and the environment in which we operate. That is why we have taken proactive steps to develop strong policies regarding child protection, gender equality, and the protection of the environment and animals, among others. These policies are not just documents; they are our guiding principles, reflecting our dedication to ethical practices and social responsibility.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was adopted in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly. It is an action plan for people, the planet and prosperity, which also aims to strengthen universal peace and access to justice. The Agenda sets out 17 objectives with 169 associated targets that cover the economic, social and environmental spheres.

At Cooperating Volunteers, we work every day to engage in this common and universal commitment. That is why we strive to adapt all of our policies and, consequently, our programs, to bring them as close as possible to achieving these proposed objectives.
