The total cost of the volunteer program is divided into 2 parts. The registration fee, which is paid to secure your placement in the program €210, and the program fee which is paid afterwards.

What is included in the fee that I am paying?

  • Assistance from Cooperating Volunteers staff at all times
  • Airport pick-up and transport to your accommodation
  • 1 orientation day
  • Introduction to Zimbabwean culture
  • Accommodation
  • 3 meals a day 7 days a week
  • 24/7 support from local staff
  • Volunteering certificate at the end of the program (upon request)

What additional costs will be incurred by the volunteers?

Visa, flights, travel insurance (obligatory), vaccines, return to the airport, bottled water, daily commute costs and other expenses (***volunteers in Zimbabwe will generally find that   €20 [approx. 25 USD] is enough to cover basic weekly expenses).
