The total cost of the volunteer program is divided into two parts. The registration fee, paid to book your placement in the program, costs €210 (approx. 253 USD), with the program fee being paid afterward. The following list gives a breakdown of the program fee costs for each project.

What is included in the fee that I am paying?

• Administration costs.
• 24/7 support from Cooperating Volunteers staff.
• 1 orientation day.
• Airport pick-up.
• Introduction to Peruvian culture.
• Accommodation.
• 3 meals a day 7 days a week. / In Cusco, the only meal included on weekends is breakfast.
• Regular evaluation meetings throughout your volunteer program.
• 24/7 support from local staff.
• Volunteering certificate at the end of the program (upon request).

What additional costs will be incurred by the volunteers?

Visa, flights, travel insurance (obligatory), vaccines, return to the airport, transport from the volunteer house to the project (€3 a week) and other personal expenses.
(*** Volunteers in Peru will generally find that €18 (approx. 25 USD) is enough to cover basic weekly expenses.) In Cusco, volunteers will usually spend around €25 a week on lunch and dinner.
