The total cost of the volunteer program is divided into 2 parts. The inscription fee that is paid to book your placement on the program: 210 euros; and the program fee being paid at a later date (in euros).

*** Changing and combining projects may entail an additional cost of €30. Please consult the Cooperating Volunteers team before changing or combining projects.

What does it include?

• Administration costs
• 24/7 support from Cooperating Volunteers staff.
• Accommodation
• Airport pick-up.
• 2 meals a day in the programs in Chitwan and Kathmandu.
• 3 meals from Monday to Friday and 2 meals during the weekend in Pokhara.

• Volunteering certificate at the end of the program (at the request of the volunteer)

What additional costs will be incurred by the volunteers?

Visas, flights, travel insurance (obligatory), vaccines, return to the airport, food during the 2-3 day stay in Kathmandu after arrival and other personal expenses.

(*** Volunteers in Nepal will generally find that  €20 (approx. 25 USD) is enough to cover basic weekly expenses.)
