The total cost of the volunteer program is divided into 2 parts. The registration fee which is paid to book your placement in the program is €210; and the program fee which is paid afterwards.

What is included in the fee that I am paying?

  • Airport pick-up.
  • Accommodation in the homes of selected host families, including a shared bedroom and bathroom. (25 euro supplement per week for a private bedroom).
  • Assistance from Cooperating Volunteers staff at all times.
  • Orientation day.
  • Three local meals.
  • Introduction to Guatemalan culture.
  • Regular evaluation meetings throughout your program.
  • 24/7 support from local partner staff.
  • Volunteering certificate at the end of the program (available upon request).
