*** The medical volunteer program has an additional cost of 100 USD (approx. €85). The orphanage volunteer program has an additional cost of 40 USD, which is paid upon arrival at the destination.

What is included in the fee that I am paying?

  • Assistance from Cooperating Volunteers staff at all times

  • 2 meals a day 7 days a week (breakfast and dinner) / In Accra, volunteers will be given 3 meals a day from Monday to Friday and 2 meals a day on Saturday and Sunday

  • 24/7 support from local staff
  • Volunteering certificate at the end of the program (upon request)

What additional costs will be incurred by the volunteers?

Visa, flights, travel insurance (obligatory), vaccines, return to the airport, lunch costs and other personal expenses. (*** Volunteers in Ghana will generally find that €40 (approx. 50 USD) is enough to cover basic weekly expenses.)
