The total cost of the volunteer program is divided into 2 parts. The inscription fee, which is paid to book your placement in the program, amounts to 210 EUR (approx. 225 USD), with the program fee being paid at a later date (in American dollars).

What is included in the fee that I am paying?

• Administration costs
• Assistance from Cooperating Volunteers staff at all times
• 1 orientation day

• 3 meals a day 7 days a week
• Regular evaluation meetings throughout your program
• 24/7 support from our local partner staff
• Volunteering certificate at the end of the program (at the request of the volunteer)

Which additional costs will be incurred by the volunteers?

Visa, flights, travel insurance (obligatory), vaccinations, return to the airport, and other expenses.
(***volunteers in the Galapagos Islands will generally find that  €36 (approx. 50 USD)  is enough to cover basic weekly expenses).
