The total cost of volunteering is divided into 2 parts. The registration fee, which is paid to reserve the spot, is 210 €, and the program fee, which is paid later.

What does my payment include?

• Administrative costs
• Assistance from Cooperating Volunteers staff at all times
• 1-day orientation
• Introduction to Colombian culture

• 2 meals per day (For the teaching and recreational activities program, 3 meals are included on weekdays and 2 meals on weekends.)
• Regular evaluation meetings during your program
• 24/7 support from our local staff
• Volunteer certificate upon completion (available upon request)

What additional costs will volunteers have?

• Flights
• Travel insurance (mandatory)
• Return transfer from the program to the airport
• Other personal expenses

(* Volunteers in Colombia generally find that around 50 € (US$ 56, approx.) is sufficient for basic weekly expenses.)
